Sustainable Packaging

Our packaging is ethically sourced and delivered to maintain the following standards for sustainable skincare:

Biophotonic Glass
Biophotonic Glass is used in all our packaging to protect the quality of our product. MIRON Violetglass is a unique biophotonic glass packaging for natural products like our Organic Facial Serum and Oils. Its unique properties protect our products from the harmful effects of light, increase their shelf life, and protect and revitalise their potency. By using this glass we contribute to environmental sustainability as follows:

  • By extending the shelf life of products reduces use of resources and waste.
  • Less additives are needed to extend shelf life.
  • MIRON Glass is a natural product with protective qualities.
  • MIRON Glass is recyclable.

Paper Made Carbon Neutral Logo
Paper Made Carbon Neutral
Applies to the paper (stock) we print on for our packaging that has had its carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions calculated; reduced where possible; and ‘offset’ through credits that fund renewable emission free energy products. Calculations have been independently audited and include scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions from raw material (seedling) through to customer (warehouses or printer). Carbon neutral papers used for our packaging fall under this cradle to customer model. Meaning the auditors have accounted for and offset all the greenhouse gas emissions for the actual processes that take place up until we hand the paper over. This measurement allows the printer the claim of ‘printing on carbon neutral paper’ and the use of the ‘paper made carbon neutral logo’.

Responsible Forestry Practices Logo
Responsible Forestry Practices
Fibre used in the production of our paper (stock) is sourced from pulp suppliers who practice responsible forestry techniques and/or use paper from managed plantation forests.

Recycled Logo
Recycled Paper
Our chosen paper (stock) is made up of recycled fibres which have been extracted from existing paper products, to be used in the manufacture of further paper products. Recycled paper can be 100% recycled or consist of a mixture of pre and post consumer waste along with some virgin fibre to add strength.
